Voluntary commitment to WCAG 2.1 AA.

Self-commitment
MWCC Markus Weigl Consulting & Coaching e.U. is, as a small service-provider company, likely not directly obliged under current law to apply the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG, in force since 28 June 2025) to private websites. We nevertheless commit voluntarily to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.
Conformance status
This website is built with the following measures:
- Semantic HTML5 with proper landmarks (header, main, nav, footer).
- Sufficient colour contrast (text/background; AA contrast ratio).
- Keyboard navigation throughout; visible focus indicator.
- Skip link to the main content.
- Alt text for non-decorative images; explicit role for decorative SVGs.
- Responsive layout from approx. 320 px upwards; supports 200 % zoom.
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion.
- No flashing or rapidly moving content.

This accessibility statement was last reviewed in June 2026 and is checked at irregular intervals against the current state of the technology.
